Things I've shipped.
i built Kazakhstan's first freight marketplace. solo. Zhol ↗
my uncle drives a truck and couldn't find loads. so i went to find out why. in Astana i went physical, walked up to shippers at trade fairs, got their cards, found their emails. turned out they were hunting for carriers just as hard. turns out brokers took 30% of each deal and held no responsibility. the demand was already there. nobody had connected the sides. i bootstrapped it and shipped v1 in two weeks. empty marketplaces die, so i seeded 3–4 made-up postings to attract carriers. today: 2 shippers live, 1 load delivered end to end.
the moment i knew it mattered: i walked into the office of a logistician expert with 27 years in the field and a national award, opened my barely working mvp, and got yelled at. i went back anyway. you don't get told off that hard about something that doesn't matter.
